GO GUIDE is a group of licensed tour guides. The gò, or ghiozzo, is a Mediterranean fish that wallows in the depths of the Venetian lagoon. It is not well known and definitely does not look good, but gò is used to prepare some of the tastiest and most sought-after dishes of traditional Venetian cuisine, such as the famous risotto.
The idea of such a simple little fish being the ingredient in such a refined dish served as our inspiration. We took it as a symbol for our group of tour guides, who live and know the area in which they work and wish to show themselves for what they are: local, knowledgeable and passionate people.

For sustainable and inclusive tourism
GO GUIDE is committed to conscious and sustainable tourism, for the benefit of those who want to discover the wonders we have before our eyes and of which we are sometimes unaware: all we need to do is leave home or travel a handful of kilometers to find ourselves in contact with beauty and history.
Inspired by the history of a city like Venice, in whose culture the art of encounter is rooted, we have devised a series of activities and routes under the banner ofaccessibility andinclusiveness; we offer itineraries designed to overcome architectural barriers and we employ the collaboration of interpreters LIS (Italian sign language) interpreters.
Our proposals are geared toward respect for the environment and historic centers, so we support-when possible-the use of eco-friendly transportation and low-impact activities.

WHERE WE OPERATE.
Beyond Venice
Venice-including estuary and mainland-is our starting point, and its existence is a miracle of balance between preservation of the natural environment and human intervention; this leads us to look at the area with other eyes.
In addition to the classic tours, we have developed thematic itineraries to always offer you something special; proposals range from museum visits to wine and food tours, from libertine Venice to excursions in the Lagoon and much more. We also propose visits to other cities, places of interest, and UNESCO sites such as Venetian villas and small walled towns or the rolling hills of Prosecco and the breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
The health emergency has led us to reflect further on our work and the contradictions of “hit-and-run” tourism, which has long distorted many art cities. This is why we prefer a direct and genuine relationship, attentive as much to the specificities of the area as to the needs of visitors. Indeed, the work of a tour guide implies a good dose of civic commitment, which translates not only into communicating the beauty of the artistic and scenic heritage but also into promoting its protection.
