Hi, it’s Gentiana!

I was born in the heart of Transylvania, the land of Dracula (don’t worry, I won’t bite!). Growing up among German fairy tale castles, at the age of 23 a stroke of luck-or perhaps fate-brought me to Venice with the Erasmus project. I was supposed to stay six months, but how do you leave a city that speaks to your heart at every turn?

I have lived on an island in the lagoon for 25 years, and to this day I cannot sit on a vaporetto without getting lost in the magic of this city. Venice is like an endless library, where every palace and every bridge tell stories of cunning merchants, brave heroes, and centuries-old secrets.

As a tour guide, I don’t take you to “class,” but inside a living and exciting story. Each tour with me is a unique storytelling, a journey through time among curious anecdotes and details you won’t find in history books. I promise you will never be bored!
