My name is Annabianca and I am a lucky Venetian by adoption. I was born and raised in Padua, then one day I decided to live in Venice.

I have an eclectic background: a degree in art economics earned first at Ca’ Foscari and later in Bologna. I specialized in museum education for adults with the belief that good mediation is the key to a wonderful experience discovering a museum, an exhibition, a city.

For ten years I worked as an organizational secretary at the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa, an institution of the City of Venice, under the presidency of Angela Vettese. This long apprenticeship allowed me to organize contemporary art exhibitions in contact with young artists who opened their studios to me and established authors who taught me the history of contemporary art.

I have a passion for photography and contemporary art, but also a special interest in Venetian religious itineraries, from a historical-artistic but especially theological perspective, thanks to the training offered to me by the Patriarchate of Venice for a careful theological reading of the mosaics of St. Mark’s Basilica.
